There def worth the money to upgrade to the 13" rotor and Cobra brake. I only have a set of PBR sitting in my garage due to lack of funds but if i can pull enough money together before mine need to be changed i will def sell the PBR and go with the Cobra or Mach setup

So I did this over the weekend. I bought the Mach 1 brake package from buyfordracing.com.

Got everything installed, took awhile because we had to bleed it about 100 times.

Only weird thing I notice...the pedal doesn't feel "normal". On most cars, the harder you push the brake pedal, the more it grabs and you can just keep pushing the pedal to the floor. Now with this setup, I can't push the pedal any further than like 1/2 way to the floor, it just hits a hard spot and doesn't go down any further.

Braking is definitely improved tho. I slammed on the brakes as hard as I could from 60mph and I stopped pretty damn fast lol. The ABS didn't kick on or anything.

the pedal will be stiffer if you used the stock GT master cylinder, IMO I like the firmer feel.

plus a lot
also with the brand new pads they wont be able to close as far

So your saying that when you pump the pedal its not building up ???

No, the pressure builds up fine. Just the pedal doesn't have the same amount of travel as normal, about halfway to the floor its solid, you can't push it any further.

Kinda hard to explain I guess lol.

i never noticed a damn difference, i had the mach 1's with whatever pads ford racing gives you with them and brembo rotors, i took them off so i could fit 15" rims on and put the stock ones back on with good pads from summit and it felt the same, stops on a dime
