Okay so I looked at my car yesterday after I washed it and although the car is coming along! when I was drying off the wheels I saw this! I almost threw up  I dont know why this did not bother me sooner, maybe because we dont look at thing's that people dont really see or look at when they compliment your car...
If some of you are wondering what upset me, it was not lugnuts, the lack of powerslot rotors, or the sweet anthricite fr500's :tongue3: it's that nasty looking PBR Cobra Caliper that was painted red to what I'm guessing was 1996 when the car was new! I mean I dont know why I didn't take care of that sooner! :confused1: well I immediately made my way to the part's store and headed to the paint aisle where I saw the caliper paint! I was very upset to see that only had 1 can of red caliper paint :angry4: easy fix! engine paint is the same exact ceramic coated, temp resistant formula! even better I picked up some Chrysler red which is a brighter more vibrant red than red caliper paint.
I know! i'm limited on supplies and used an old clean towel to guard my Tokico adj strut and Steeda spring and besides I was painting this in sections so I wouldn't mess anything up so the side that was resting on the towel got sprayed 3 hours later. Below is the finished product completely assembled with a freshly painted caliper and caliper bracket and the wheel re-installed, once the paint cures a few days I will be painting the cobra letters by hand either silver or black! I haven't decided. My car is a daily :BangHead: so this means that it will not be done until Wednesday which is 3 days from now :angy: but she should look awesome in 3-4 more days :la:
