wazup guys I got a ? I have a 94 cobra as most of u know I wanted to see if any of u have tried this. by putting a computer and mass air from a 94-95 gt in a 94-95 cobra and seeing if it works

Maf is the same.. ecu will work but it's not the right calibration. You need to to have it tuned

well my car is cammed with bigger mass heads diff intake ect my buddy has the SAME set up but in a gt I was going to maybe see if his setup will work on mine just to see bc I know the cobras are de tuned from hell

if you put a GT computer in a Cobra you'd have to put the 19lb injectors in a long with it or it won't run right.

I think he wants to use the GT ECU, and a 24# MAF/injector combo. As said, the GT/Cobra MAFs are the same so you'd need an aftermarket MAF and it should work. Not exactly sure how the Cobra ECU is detuned. Not worth the effort IMO, have adder burn you a chip and be done.

I was always told the cobra had a better tune compare to the gt. That's why a lot of dyi tuners use it as a base to start tuning..

Save yourself a lot of money by just tuning the car.
