I don't think I've seen anyone with one. Any ideas to temp hold the front plate for cobra bumper?? I will not drill into my bumper, but I'd like to have one on and just be able to remove it for shoots or something...

I'm thinking just some zip ties, but if possibly some tape I guess?...

I wouldn't use the bracket, it leaves an outline mark on the bumper over time. And to be honest that looks like trash.

I looked into the hide a plate idea on my car and the only place I can find to mount it is between the bumper and the chin spoiler cutting a notch into the chin for the "rail" the plate slides onto. Didn't seem like a great idea and those things are so overpriced that for now I am still plateless.

The cobra front end may not have the seperation on the bottom part of the bumper like my GT one though so it may be a better fit

Took a closer look, cobra front end has the seperator also so no room for the hide away holder there

Hopefully you don't have to parallel park with that plate holder in place. Even the magnetic ones that attach from underneath...All it takes is some tool to back into your bumper when parallel parking and a mark will be made on the bumper.

And those zip ties are probably going to scratch the paint too...up under the pony there and maybe the lip just before the bracket.

I would grab some strips of steel or better yet aluminum and bend up a bracket to mount it under the radiator support. bend it to go up through one of the air holes in the bumper and have it about 1-2 inches from the paint, cover the entire bracket with plastidip or something and maybe put some rubber or foam behind the plate in case anyone backs their car into yours and pushes the thing into your fresh paint.

you dont care if those zip ties scratch your clear? if they havent already they will once you hit some bumps or even the wind shifting the bracket will def scratch it.

You can mount the hide away system on the section with the seperator, but it will be off center and might stick out far.
I got mine under the bumper which sits very low, but its been on for like 3 weeks now. no bottoming out.

It doesn't hide it perfect, but im glad its out of sight for the most part.

I think I am going to rig up a couple brackets where I drill into the bottom of the bumper cover only then mount the plate to this, that way I can take off the plate at any time and the only way anyone will see the holes is if they lay on the ground in front of my car

That hide a plate isn't bad...

I emailed the guys at this bracket site, and this is the pictures they sent me. I've also heard that it's not very good either and scratches.

Zip ties are on there just to get it checked off, then I'll figure out a better way. Maybe I'll try and fab my own bracket...

Why not do a hide-away plate slightly offset in the lower grill between the fog and the center divider? Seems like a perfect place...who cares if its in the center of your car, its ugly regardless of where you put it.

I've gone by countless cops with no plate on the front. I have it under my driver's seat in the plastic you get from the DMV so if I do get pulled over by a cop I'll just throw it up on the dash and be like "it was there I swear". I have not been pulled over by any cops yet though, I have a PBA card and even the military cops on base don't care.

Whatevs... If that bracket works though I might be interested... I just think front plates are stupid and look like a bag of dicks. Probably just going to roll without one.

I haven't put the front tag on my Sienna yet and I bought it in November. I just can't bring myself to drill into the front of my $35K Minivan to put on something I don't want on there. Now since its a Soccer Mom Mobile my odds of getting pulled over are slim.

Dude, it's a minivan, just do it. Not like it will ever be worth "collector value"

If I needed it I wouldn't pause even a second before I walked to the Explorer drill in hand
