Cobra H-pipe

Does anyone know if the 97 gt's h pipe will fit a 96 cobra

Its a really close fit. Exhaust hangers from the tranny probably wont match cause the tranny mounts between Gt and Cobras are different, but close....but not close enough.

tried this awhile ago, the manifolds are different widths but you could force it to work, and like said before the hangers are in a different location so you would need to weld on the hangers in the right spot.

I didn't like how much it had to be forced to connect so i got the right h pipe for a cobra

Im thinking of my Hpipe where it seperates at the H. The H section slips together but can allow for different widths such as a 5.4l.

i really only need it to fit to smog the car. Once the car is smogged i will put it back on my GT. Do you guys think that would work?

Where are you located, I have my 96 cobra h pipe sitting against the garage for the same purpose. I am in AZ.
