Cobra intake

So I put on my cobra intake and I have 2 issues that maybe some can help with.

#! I can use the phenolic spacer because the egr tube will not reach. Is there a replacement our there?

# my front strut tower brace wont fit over the new intake. Do they make another one that fir the cobra intake? can I find one off of a 94-95 cobra?

You need to weld a bit in and extend it.
You can buy aftermarket braces that will fit it, i'm sure someone will tell you who, or use the 94-5 cobra brace.

basisly all the aftermarket braces will work since they go in front of the intake instead of over it.

Yeah stock brace fits the stock intake and that's it.

I would get the MM or FRPP brace.

All the aftermarket strut tower braces use the stock mounting points. Maximum Motorsports, FRPP (aka 94-95 Cobra), Edelbrock, BBK etc....

I bought the Ford Racing STB and it fit exact as the stock.

Im not totally positive about this. But every cobra i have ever seen including my 94 doesnt come with a factory strut tower brace due to the cobra intake. The cobra's come with a larger diameter front sway bar down under. someone correct me if im wrong

Yeah, my 94 Cobra didn't come with a STB, however for some very weird reason my cobra came with a tiny front swaybar. 28mm i think?

Every 94-95 Cobra I have ever seen didnt come with a STB

The 96-98 modular snakes got the factory strut tower bar. All the stone stock 94-95 cobra's i've seen in person had no strut tower brace.

I'm pretty sure actually that for the 98 Cobra they dropped the brace again... 94/95 Cobras definitely didn't come stock with a STB. If i were you i just wouldn't bother with one.

Cobra's use the same front sway bar the gt's had, I believe cobras (94/95) came with an X brace near/around/attached to the K member thus no need for a STB.

that x brace is also factory on all verts. so gt verts get stb xbrace and theres a 3rd brace that connects the two rear kmember mounts. IMO my gt vert feels weird the front feels like its rock solid and the rear is all over the place.
