Hey guys I am trying to restore this mystic car I have and am trying to do it the right way with the right parts.

I know that 94-98 Cobras had a black leather wheel and 99-04 had charcoal. After months of looking I have found one and the seller does not know what year car its from. Can anybody verify this wheel is black and not charcoal?

Any help would be so gratefully appriciated I didnt have much luck on svtp.

Looks black to me.

I have a 2004 Cobra steering wheel for sale and it is not black like that.
It is the dark charcoal version.

Cobras did not come with a specific color wheel. It matched the color of the interior. My cobras wheel as tan. Don't make a steering wheel purchase based on that. Buy a crap one and have it redone by redline

Mine came with a black wheel but I realize they had a tan saddle one as well. I was just trying to differentiate between 94-98 and 99-04 wheels. I am doing an oem restore and I think I recall the re-wraps by Redline looking very different.

Many people have the re wraps look different so it has the thumb portion and all. Otherwise you can have them make it look as stock as you want.

and unless your car has 10k miles on it.. putting an oem steering wheel on it will not really increase its value if that is what you are after. If its for your own sake. I still say just redo the one you have and have redline make it as oem as possible

Sent from some device in my hands. Like a bauss

I was going to suggest checking out Redline Goods (which I see you mentioned) but you already purchased the wheel.

I really did do research on the redline wheel wraps and they do look of great quality, I would suggest them to anyone. I am just doing a meticulous restore on this interior so I am looking at everything 100% factory if you know what I mean.
