Yeah i like the look of the box, and love all sony products. Its gonna be a slow process. Im looking at 1200 watt Sony amps now.

Your build is coming along great, I love a clean cobra. That sub box will look great back there too, very clean. I might have an amp that will work for you if you're interested. Been a while since I've looked at it, but if you want any more info on it, I can dig it out and shoot you some pictures.

I would not get too hung up on sony amps unless you are going back to some old ES amps. Their subs were the only thing after the explode era that was really worth having anymore.

Yea, i just chunked in the trash 3 lanzar 5000watt amps that were laying around that were totally worthless. Although i knew when purchasing them the stipulations. The systems build goal was cheap crap equipment and the lanzars failed miserably.

Pyramid bought lanzar as well as others, but story short todays lanzar is no different then pyramid back then.

Get on crutchfield and look at infinity amps. They’re on sale and they’re actual written wattage is true to print.

Jbl is the same as well.

Also keep in mind that Sony subs are rated at max wattage. Look at their specs and find the rms, probably between 200-300 if I had to guess. The lesser named amps boasts insane specs that they’ll never come close to without catching fire.

custom box with Sony gtx 10s and gtx amp. sounds great. 2 hr road trip yesterday and no issues. can't hear exhaust anymore. except during s9ng changes lol. amp is to big to mount to box so I'll be mounting it to both seats. I'm the only one who moves em so I'll know to pull them both at the same time. mach amps running off front rca with y splitters. no more cutting put either, had a loose pin.1200 watt sony running off rear rca
