I've had mine laying around for months and finally got around to putting it in tonight. Pro 5.0 on a TR3650, talk about a noisy combination.
Impression from a test drive involving a wide range of speeds- big improvement- the gasket helped cut down noise and vibration by a good amount. Definitely worth the money and highly recommended for an aftermarket shifter. I'm using both the base gasket and the shifter handle gasket. Imo the trick is to torque the shifter base bolts down snugly but not so much that the gasket is forced out the sides, I think that's where I went wrong when I had my '97 and had no difference before/after.
Got it right this time.
