Coil pack difference between 95 and 98 v6

Grandson replaced motor in a 95 v6 with a 97 motor and now it's missing. We noticed they call for different part number coils. Does anyone know the difference?

Should be the same. I would assume the coil pack is on the way out. Has it flashed a code for the misfire?

We only had it running for about a minute but no cel yet. It did run fine before we pulled out of the 97. Part numbers are different between the two though and we didn't keep the blown motor.
