anyone ever have problems with msd's coil for our 5.0's? ive had one go bad in 3 months and i think the replacement i got may be wasted too. also if theres anyone in sac that has free time tomorrow to let me borrow your stock coil for some testing let me know and we can trouble shoot this biotch

I've got msd everything in my car and never one problem, although some people on this site refuse to use thier products. Im currently running the MSD 6al, blaster TFI coil, and full distibutor. Just for future reference, dont buy thier spark plug wires. They are too short and shitty insulation material.

yeah im running the red ford racing 9mm wires. i just had to replace my tfi coil because it stopped sending the fire. i replaced my dizzy first but that didnt fix anything. so after coil distributor and fuel pump i get a surging when the car is at full temp. im thinking the coil is breaking down under heat and load.
