Sorry guys I used the search button but it kind of just looked at me funny and didn't really help :dontknow:

I was wondering what the numbers are supposed to look like on 5.0 cars while doing a compression check? I want to do a compression check this weekend but I'm curious to know what the numbers are supposed to be.

Car has 124k miles and runs like a champ even though it's stock gears, heads and cam lol

I'm having fuel pressure issues but that's about it. Only concern I have is that it burns oil on start up after sitting for an hour after it's been driven. Most likely valve seals? :dontknow:

The numbers themselves aren't as critical as the variation of numbers between the cylinders. In a good running motor, all of them are usually within 3-5% of eachother. I've only done a compression check on one stock 5.0, and I can't remember what the numbers were.

seems like I usually got around 150 on my cars but its been a long time.

and i would agree that sounds like a valve seal issue.

I would say 140 and higher is ok.

If it is a little less no problem...like Paul said, as long as they are within the same range your fine.
