I am in the process of getting ready to have my block machined for the rebuild and need to order pistons. I have looked on many sites and checked many of the compression calcs and each one is giving me a different compression ratio for my setup. Im in need of a little assistance to get this figured out so I can order the pistons for the machine shop.

I am wanting 10:1-10.5:1 CR and the motor will be 306 ci. I am purchasing AFR 185cc heads with 58cc chambers and was planning on running the FRPP headgaskets I was using on the motor in the first place which have a quench of .041 (unless suggested otherwise for the compression goal). It will reuse the OEM rods and crank as well. Im aiming for 0 on the deck as well.

My question for you guys is, what cc piston will i need to achieve the compression goal? the ranges I am getting are anywhere from +8.00 to -2.00.

Thanks in advance everyone

Jeremy
