my buddy has a 88 300z, so i ran across this in our endevours

i really like the idea of having a computer in place of the radio/ radio+cd player. also, it would be able to tune on the fly with something like QH...wouldnt it?
i have xm radio, i'd like gps, (i plan on shooting for the on3 turbo) so a computer controlled boost controller would be awesome.

does anybody know of anything similiar done, or is it even possible to say..monitor A/F and listen to xm with the same device?
money doesnt bother me, so if this is feasible, i will do it. but what do you guys think?
my big problem was with the OBD1, but the QH would fix that.....right?

I'm sure it can all be easily done...and its been done before....just making it look worth two shits is the challenge.

been thinking of doing that myself. have not because of $$$ spent on audio system that is in it now and finding a way how to make it look good. an rfid ignition at same time would be cool.

I thought about modifying a radio bezel to integrate an iPad. Not saying I'll do it, but it's something different that I've yet to see done. Plus, I run plx devices gauges that can send info to the iPhone so why not an iPad.

and i'm kind of...extremely anal when it comes to keeping things nice. i might start drawing up some sketches to see if i can put my idea down onto paper.
i just wanted to make sure all the wiring and power supplying wouldnt be too much of a hassle, but i think it'd look and function amazing if it works

the iPad sounds interesting, a lot of people use the...i think its call...Mac Mini? just the really small tower.
