Well in October '09 my b/f and I, along with 2 of his customers and a few buddies trailered 3 of Power By The Hour's turbo Mustangs up to Bowling Green, KY for the Nitto and 5.0 Mustangs and Fast Ford's KOTS event. After a long 5 month wait, we finally got the results after the magazine came out! :D

Nice, I know the guy with the 98 saleen. His car is from the local mustang shop around here, Fastlane. Watched him like a month or two ago make over 1100 on the dyno at Fastlane's open house. Seeing all the results and watching the video of KOTS on the magazine website it didnt really seem like the turbo cars were able to make full power on the dyno. All the pulls seemed really short like the turbos wouldnt even have enough time to spool. Anyways that green 97 cobra was definitely one of my favorites! Congrats on getting three in the comp!

yea, we hung out with fastlane and the owner of the saleen for a bit...real cool and nice group of guys!

As far as the dyno pulls go, at least for our 3...We have never had any of the cars on a dyno, so we weren't expecting to make big numbers...We were hoping to excel in everything else (that kinda failed, because apparently the dyno numbers were kinda the make it or break it deal of the competition). We expected Jake's car (my b/f's 97) to make the most power of the 3, but 3rd gear broke right when it went on the dyno so the pull was in 2nd, thats the reason his pull was so quick. They had the gas pinned till it hit the rev limiter at around 8K rpm's...thats how quick his car spools haha.
Jake's car made 642 in 2nd, so we were estimating to have made around 850+ if it would have gone into 3rd... :/
