So I'm about to get a set of sve rear control arms from my brother. My question is what's the deal with poly upper bushings? MM says they cause damage to the chasiss? I need to know if they are going to thrash my gt.

upper or lower control arms?

MM says that they will cause more axle bind under load than the rubber ones, i dont remember there being any mention of chassis damage...

also, lower rear control arms tend to be a better purchase for mildly modded mustangs.

Anyways, i had poly bushings up top for a year with 0 problems. than I read MM's site and switched back to OEM rubber units. didnt have problems with my 100,000 mile Factory ones, didnt have problems with the polys, havent driven it with the new OEMs ;-)

I'm getting both uppers and lowers but I'm asking about the upper mount at the torque boxes. That's where they claim there is damage and say that's why you should run their torque arm setup. Has anyone had this problem?
