Ok so I have my 95 Gt as some of you might know. Mods are Gt40x heads,F cam, roller rockers, ported gt40,70mm TB,FRPP water pump, alum. radiator. ok so my car has been acting like it should for about a month. Maybe because I just put the motor in a month ago haha. But the other night some kid in a V6 thought he was gonna make me look bad. lol well I jumped on it and gave him a spanking his parents should have gave him and when i was cruising back through town my temp jumped up to 220+ so I pulled into Wal-mart and flipped my fan switch to cool her down. Well I thought maybe it was me driving it hard, but I drove it again today and it is doing the same thing again. Even at 220 I have no heat. Can someone help me in fixing this?

I think that's textbook thermostat failure. When/if replacing, check the original thermostat for the 1/8" bleeder hole in the outer rim that sits at 12:00 when facing the engine. I have always had to drill one in myself. But that may not pertain to your engine though.

No I have them on a switch so I can turn them on when I think I need too. I am also running a 180 stat that is "new" from advanced
