Just got my wheels back today from the powder coater today. Figured I'd post a pic. About to get my full car audio set up installed on Monday too, but sadly snow is on its way again... So I was feeling self-righteous and wanted to share. Will have to get some decent pictures.

Looks killer! Great choice of wheels by the way, they really show off those huge brakes.

I love me some copper! I have thought about copper/brass/gold for years with my dark green but the HRE's I was looking at were more than the car is worth.

Great job!!!!

Lets here some more info on those brakes... wheels look very nice. I think coating those huge calipers would set the wheels off..

It's Transparent Copper from Prismatic Powders. Thank you, appreciate it.

They're the 4 piston Saleen brakes. Badly discolored. But I will be refinishing them soon.

I was wanting to use the black Duplicolor caliper kit, however I want to leave the yellow on the "Saleen". Does anyone know how I could cover the yellow up and paint it without blacking out the yellow lettering? I was thinking maybe pushing some wax into the letters then pick it out after the paint has dried? Seems risky though...

(One last pic for now)

I have heard of people using vasoline to coat small areas like that they didnt want painted but it seems like it might be easier to coat the whole thing black and go back with like a touch pen or a small brush and do the Saleen logo.

Wheel color looks awesome btw
