couple recent pics... hood is finally finished, new pics in 1st post!

these are a little older, but thought they looked pretty cool for a couple quick snapshots. black cobra belongs to goindeafonmtx

carshow, autocross, and drags this weekend. goindeaf did the autocross, but I don't think we had a camera with us so no pics of that. got a couple pics playing around today though. pops took home a trophy, me and brad just got a couple door prizes... no love for the sn95's today

snapshot after installing the hood. Will get some good pictures eventually.

after today I'm ready to get the car on an actual track... so who know's maybe I'll have some more pics and vids of that stuff.


EDIT: small photoshoot at one of our parks. I was really surprised how well the pics turned out, thought I'd share.

the hood is an ho fibertrends (same as on the original cobra r's)... not exactly happy with it though. Fitment is not what I would have expected for such an expensive hood. I mean I realize that my car is 13 years old and you're bound to have some flexing in those years... but it even dips down in the middle. It is hard to explain but at the back and front of the hood it lines up perfect with the fenders, in the middle, just above the wheel wells it is noticeably lower than the fenders. I'll probably see what I can do about that, it's not that bad, but I'm a perfectionist.

the decklid is on hold for a while... funding has become an issue, just haven't been working enough.

oh yeah, I love the cobra r hood. and most people probably wouldn't even notice what I'm talking about. But since I know about it, and it's my car, it bugs me. Just one of those things ya know.
