hey guys i have a 96 gt and just found out a buddy of mine who owns a junk hard had 2 black 94 v6's in his lot. one with 150k and a driver just with no brakes and needed left front fender, front bumper and hood, the other wasnt a runner with a pretty good body.

my questions for you seeing as i baught both cars is 1 how many of you have the functional side brake vents?

2 how many of you have no rear defrost??

also the front winshield has a mustang emblem on the lower center of the winshield and in the driver side lower corner of the winshield also... just wondering if these are factory or not

thanks, also will be posting up some stuff for sale off the second car soon just need to get the first one running ..

thanks

No 94-98 mustangs, whether it be the v6, gt, or cobra came with functional side scoops

Rear Defrost was an option from the factory in 94-95, I think it became standard in 96-98.

No the mustang emblems are not factory.

my 96 V6 mustang had holes in the side scoop (like the hood scoop holes), although the plumbing didnt reach all the way to the wheel well, they looked better than the ones my GT has, which are completely closed off....

Like I said they're not functional, really that actually hinders performance by creating an air pocket in the fender.

...... wtf? lol.

id go into the classified section of the site and find someone parting out a 94-04 and ask for a defrost switch and button... and... everything.. lol... otherwise... use a hair dryer and a cigarette lighter adapter and just point it back there while youre cruising on the highway. :)

no defroster here....the 248a package eliminates everything

didnt you just do a shoot with mark?

and for everyone else... i have a v6 with functional side scoops. i can see my rear tires through the vent, most dont have this, but mine does. IDK why. and i have a rear defroster.

Dang that sucks they crushed the car, but it happens all the time. Then the ole geezers complain 20 years later about not being able to find that paticular model of car...

94-95 having rear defrost was an option. 96-98 it was standard except for the lower parts of the country were it stayed an option
