alright. well first is just a problem. my a/c and heat only blow on high? whats the deal with that?

and i found a 96 5.8 ford truck engine. complete engine. runs good. havent seen it but will go look at it. and if its clean hopefully get it for my 97.
only thing. is ive yet to replace my stock 7.5 rear with an 8.8, and i just got a new clutch in the t-5. could i bolt this 5.8 up...would it connect directly...so i need anything else?

HELPPP!!!! thanks.

the 5.8 will bolt up to the 3.8's bellhousing, but i doubt the V6 spec t-5 would last long with a 5.8 powering it.

if you keep your 7.5", it will break with a v8. bolt on v6 cars are capable of breaking them

thats the thing...i planned on getting an 8.8 or 10 bolt in the spring as well as a new trans to hold some power when i eventually switched out the engine. but do you think my trans and rear end would last til the spring? if i did swap em out.

if you kept the engine stock-ish, im sure it would be fine just driving around town.

It depends on which motor mounts you want to get put in. They probably would do a simple motor mount. Unless they are a performance shop or have a tech that does it also. Then they might be able to do a solid poly mount. If you throw it in there just take it easy on the trans. :)

yo are going to need the wiring harness and computer. the rear end will go sooner or later but you will be fine with the one wheel peel unless you really push it. the tranny is your next upgrade. also the fuel system... need a bigger fuel pump but the stock lines and tank will be fine.
