With a cut off wheel

As much as you want, say a coil or 1.5 coils (thats alot)

you could if you wanted.

Its safe if you cut the rears, and use a wheel. The proper way is to replace them. I cut mine due to the drag race effect and different ride height effects 60'. Good luck.

So I should only cut the rear?
Is there a write up somewhere?

I want to know too because I had the idea of cutting 1/2 or 3/4 of a spring off of my Ford Racing "B" springs before I put them on. Also putting on new shocks/struts, MM Caster Camber Plates, X2 Balljoints, and a Bumpsteer Kit.
I want it slightly lower than what I've seen B springs produce.
Do it?? Do NOT Do It??

cutting springs changes the springs rate properties. It's not the right thing to do, but honestly are any of my warnings really going to stop you?

That being said, alot of very successful drag race teams recommend cutting 1 coil off the stock rear springs, as it drops the car in the rear, stiffens up the spring, and aids in getting your rear suspension geometry in a favorable position.
