Cylinder head removal issue

Hey guys, I have a problem here. I'm currently taking off my cylinder head due to spark plug blowing out. I took everything off that I had to in order to free the cylinder head from the short block but I can't take it off because of this metal coolant hose that is connected to the cylinder head is in the way. Does anyone know how to remove this?

i beleive its held in with one screw on either side, press fitted, complete with one o ring.

my manual is at the shop, but going off memory its press fitted with o rings and i beleive the left side can slide out of the right side....

look in your pants. If you have balls, kiss them good bye. Get a pry-bar and start prying until you boys fall off...

I'd also suggest PB Blaster.

anyways, I'd suggest popping off the left side and see if you can detach it from the right, leaving the right in place.

Chris' advice is the best, be prepared to pop a few blood vessels.Get some PB plaster/WB 40/Liquid wrench and go hard!! They are a huge PITA.

Success!! I got them off this morning and completed my cylinder head removal. I pb blasted them and left it over night then sprayed some more in the morning then got a rubber mallet and went at it with two hands. Got them off in about 3 minutes and wasn't hard at all. Thank you guys for your help.
