Nope if I get pulled over I'll just say "But officer aren't they on?" Officer: "No your foglights are on" Me: "Oh my apologies I'll turn them on I'm use to my last car the headlights barely worked at all so I guess you could say I'm use to the dim lights" Officer: "Just make sure you keep them on at night please" Me: "Yes sir."

LOL i hate when you see a car driving @ night with NO lights on. Then 2 cops pass him either going the same way or the opposite way and dont do anything to let that person know. Then you drive with 1 headlight out on your mustang and bamm they get you, but not the guy with no headlights or rear lights on @ night

Your on the right track here. Only thing you want to change is when you say oh I'm sorry my last vehicles lights were so dim. At this point your admitting fault and he can write the ticket. Best thing to do is never say anything or admit fault. Here's how it would go down with me ( officer; you know why I pulled you over right ? , me: no idea ? Officer: we'll your running only your fog lights, me: no I have my lights on, let's go look, by the time he pulled me over lights would be on so there should be no problem, officer: we'll when I seen you coming at me I only seen your fog lights, me: we'll sir am I under arrest or you going to site me ? Now comes the tricky part, officer: we'll I'm going to site you, me: okay give ticket to attorney let them know you never admit fault and bam you win. ) moral to this story is never admit fault even if you know your guilty, don't be a snitch on yourself and they have to have proof in order for the ticket to stick. So they must submit video or something. This goes back to your meranda rights ( anything you say can and will be used against you ) don't fall in the trap shut the hell up and you will be okay even if your speeding always ask to see the radar it's your right

I did the Dakota fog light conversion with 3000k HID's, the first trip out I had my headlights aimed waaaaaaay too far down and thankfully the fog lights lit my way home that night, lol.

I highly doubt that any of that will ever happen. Most cops that I have spoken to are pretty serious about their jobs when people get pulled over.

Well that's depending on where you live, I live in Texas and alot people here (I wont say which race) drive with their headlights off at night because they got their license's at the $5 Comprar Aquà pagar aquà esquina DMV.... <<< Yes that was a giveaway.
Anyway cops here in the DFW Metroplex are pretty lenient they mainly look out for speeders because racing happens out here more than anything else. Hell even then, I remember couple years ago I was racing a BMW on the interstate and we were neck and neck up until I saw a cop in a Tahoe merge onto the freeway right next to us. We were going about 110mph until I slammed on my brakes the cop hit his lights came right up behind me and...........
Went around me to go after the BMW...
There was even a time I was just cruising down the freeway and I was doing about 85mph in a 65 (80mph is my comfort speed), I saw a speed trap and just slowly let off the gas and merged over, cop on the bridge stayed there and even the group of cops sitting off the highway about 1/8th of a mile down didn't do anything. Cops here just suck at their job LOL

Your luck will run out... I've paid for a few roads to be paved in my time. No tickets in 4 years now, knock on wood.

if you can see your way with just your fog lights, your fog lights are messed up. they are supposed to be aimed down towards the ground, to cover the 15 feet immediately in front of the car that the headlights dont

True I even have HID fogs and they are aimed down. I can't see them at all, but they do contribute to my headlight output, makes the road a lot brighter.
