Dash motherboard help?

I was putting in my dash on my 95 gt, got the whole dash wired then ran into a bigger problem. I have no idea what it is or does. I have a 95 base v6, would this be interchangeable? Its on the driver side behind the steering wheel and gauge area.

if I am not mistaken it is part of the cruise control system.

That would make perfect sense seeing that the car it came from had the buttons and all but no cruise control. I dont need it, dash is good then?

I actually had to disconnect mine because for some reason it took 3 volts from my tail lights when it was plugged in. I have been with out it since with no issues.
