Definite cooling problem….

Yeah reckon the head gaskets of gone?…. .should I change the water pump at the same time as the Head gasket?

With engine running, do you feel puffs of air coming out of that reservoir uncapped with your hand over it? Are the tailpipes exceptionally clean? Same might go for one (or more) of the piston tops if you can get a borescope in each one - one or more of those would be exceptionally clean. Might be easier/quicker to first pull all spark plugs. If one (or more) of those is exceptionally clean then you'd have your answer pretty quickly. Or maybe you're a bit lucky an only a small part of the gasket is destroyed (if so) and it's only oil and coolant mixing and combustion forces are not part of the problem. It could be as simple as an oil cooler gasket failing if the motor is equipped with one.

If you have full forbidden chocolate milk from a head-gasket, you'd most likely have a dead misfire by now.

Next step is a block test for hydrocarbons followed by a compression test.

I'd be looking at the oil cooler if those come back unremarkable.

Thanks all for the info, Tail pipes are not clean,I am going find my bore scope and have a look with that.

It does have a oil cooler,but that that is for the transmission as its a slushbox…auto.

IMG_2595.jpegso I just put a bore scope down the plug holes……the pistons look blackish..carbon color….And the plugs look like normal color….I have attached a photo of the plug…..they seem to be all the same color.IMG_2595.jpeg
