Going to look at a '95 DFG coupe this week, would love to see some pics. Only found one thread from 6 years ago with search. Thanks
there are pics at the the link in my sig. DFG has been my fav color for years. Any kind of shadow on the car or semi-dark area and everyone thinks its black. Hit it at the right time at dusk an it can kinda look blue too...
Thanks for the replies. DFG is not my first choice BUT the car is a clean, bone stock 5-speed with 75k miles - and the asking price is $4k. Seems too good to pass up. I think some black FR's with a polished lip would look good. There was a guy on here with a white car/black roof that had gold/polished FR's, forget his name. I think that would look really good with this color but the interior is grey and that would bother the hell out of me.
I love this thread. Older pic of mine, do not have quality picture with the new mods. I plan on doing saleen conversion on mine, never seen a coupe done in this color, seen it in vert edition tho. Edit: I also noticed that when DFG is not polished you cant see the blue in the paint because the metallic flakes are "muted" from reflection. When DFG is polished and there is not blemish in the clear it shines beautiful. Unpolished it looks like dull green color.
I guess you you don't know that is now a very rare car. Just like the Electric Green Cobra with a white top and white leather.
You misunderstood what i meant. I know full well it's a rare combo. The problem is all the unnecessary bullshit on the car (stuff you can't see). I've seen it up close the last 3 yrs at the Waterford show here. It could be a really cool car, but until it gets a slight makeover it won't do it for me.
