I was curios about the distributor less setups. As of what I read there are only 2 options. A9L and a good tuner with the Explorer EDIS or an AEM computer with the EDIS.

I havent found anything other then that. So the 94-95 computer wont work with EDIS?? I would have to swap to Fox A9L and get the explorer stuff..Or by an extremely expensive AEM computer for the 94-95.

Is there any other options?? BY now , know one has gotten a distributorless ign system to work with the T4mo??

So for about $360 you have a megasquirt? is it the II ? Isnt that one needed to run edis?

I might just go ahead and do this. So I need a Explorer balancer with the timing ring on it, the sensor, coil packs and the piece that replaces the distributor? I am still not sure if thats all right..

Well as far as I can tell, u just use the cam sensor (distributor) from the explorer to drive the oil pump and plug the hole.. Should be an easy find.. Other then that Looks like u just need coil packs 36-1 reluctor wheel and the sensor to read the reluctor wheel..

So do u still use a MAF with MS? Or is it deleted? I dont know if its better having MAF or not?

I have a megasquirt 2 system for my 95 cobra I just have to many problems with it because I feel having a MAF is a bit more accurate when it comes to engine performance don't get me wrong the custom tuning is awesome but it takes awhile to perfect it

That's the learning curve for anyone tuning a vehicle.. I chose no maf for less restriction, and I get a better outcome , formulating for load vs. ait vs cfm is all compiled better in map mode.. As long as you know how to use simple math your in..

Looks like I will be pickin your brain when it comes time to set my MS II up.. I heard it was a steep learning curve with the MS but not much more then a 1/4 horse.
