This is really starting to irk me. Stop misleading people just to stroke your ego. I sacrificed this cable just to prove a point. Photo 1 is a good cable showing 2.2 ohms. The resistance is at the probe points. Photo 2 is a defective cable. I cut the cable to a few strands with a hacksaw. It is still reading 2.2 ohms. According to your test, the cut cable would still test good. Any half-wit can see that the cut cable would never carry the load to engage the starter. Now the rest of you decide how you want to test for poor connections. I worked for 40 years as an industrial electro/mechanical technician.
