Is it just me being a old worry wart..Boot?

I picked up a boot for my 04 GT a month ago. off market place and excellent shape. it is for the earlier model so doesn't have the snaps. think is called parade boot and today was first time I ever used it. First time driving car with top down as when I got it I had to fix one line and cylinders for top. Anyway driving down hwy at 65-70 mph I couldn't help but worry it might fly off and damage my rear wing..or worse land on car behind me? Anybody else feel the same way? I might just leave it off but does improve looks being on I think.

As long as its put on properly i dont see an issue. Been well over 100mph with the boot on my car no issues.

I was a bit skeptical at first. Then said screw it and like 95opel did a 100+ blast down a back road to see. You should have no issues.
