Well he messaged me back. He said he was just gonna send the parts back. I requested either the parts we agreed on or $5 to cover what i paid in shipping there. Do you think thats unreasonable?

I would demand more than $5 as a "rental fee" since he essentially borrowed your parts and wasted your time.

True, honestly I would be just happy to get my shit back and the money I'm out.... but yeah I agree between the paper, ink and the massive amount of time invested in shipping/dealing with this BS he should give me more...
