I've been going through life with a 3.8 power steering pump with a 5.0 reservoir. Clearances were tight, but the thing worked for months. Now it seems that its leaking and that I probably should get the pumped designed for it. Since Im going to have to buy a new one, and this is a show car with already polished parts on it, I was wondering if anyone here knew of someone who made polished power steering pumps for the 94 5.0. I know they make em for the fox bodies.

Only the front part of the pump is aluminum, and could be polished. The reservoir is all plastic.

You'd melt any seals inside.

...and polishing would actually be easier. Not to mention you can barely see that part anyway.

Exactly why I opted for an all black one and maybe I'll buy a polished pulley....
