I am currently building my 1994 Mustang Gt. I purchased a pair of heads and on the front side of them they say SVO and to the bottom right of the letters “SVO” there is written 127R. I can’t find any information on GT40 X302 SVO 127A heads. Do any of you know what they are and what makes them different from normal SVO heads?

They could be old Y heads. Pull a valve cover it will have either x or Y302 stamped in the rocker area.

Who gives a fuck it doesn’t mean shit they’re x 303 heads they’re all the same . 127a isn’t a part number . You’re overthinking things . They’re nice heads they’re small but they do alright .
Dawg chillax. Well it must mean something that could possibly distinguish it from normal gt40x heads considering non of the others I have seen online have such a marking.

Those heads are like 30 years old that’s why you’re not finding any information . M 6049 is the part number for those heads and you can get all the specs on them . 127a on the front front isn’t going to give you any information at all . Shit that could be the 127th pair they made . All I know is they’re no different then any other set or x 303 turbo swirl heads . My old turd has a bunch of old svo stuff as well . Cool hard to come by stuff in todays age

I remember reading that there were different part numbers based on whether the head was sold with all the furniture or bring-your-own-valves but I don't think that was cast into the head.
