I would get it, if you ever ran into trouble and wanted to sell all of those parts on there it will get you over $2000

That just means he bought it and the odo probably doesn't work, or he didn't know when the block work was done. If you have the 2k to get it, do it. I would if I did in a heart beat. The motor alone if done like it is is worth more

^^ This, I would part everything off it and transfer it into a good car. It's got a LOT of good parts on it, again, if true...

Seems fishy. If you were serious about it, then I'd call the local PD and do a VIN check. And if you plan on regestering it then call your clerk's office ahead of time and see what your options are.

If you read the add. The motor Is said to be a stroker with aluminum heads which is a nice bonus if there actually there. You could sell the complete 5spd conversion for a good chunk as well. Then there's the rear end and tons of stuff I've made lots parting mustangs out. If I lived that way I'd be on my way to go look at it and grab it.

Looks great for parts or for the Drag racing...Only because of the Title problem....and for that offer 1500 cash...and let see what happens ..since he know he have a title problem he should jump all over that....or tell him to sell it for parts his damn self :)

I wouldn't give the guy 2k for it with no title. IF you do get it. I would go under the assumption that unless it can be seen as a mod then it is not there. Unless he has proof. Don't get screwed.

And if you get it. Lock it in a garage quick and strip it down to put it into another car. No titles can be sketchy.

There are a couple ways to look at it.

1. He has money problems and needs money quick. In that case he will fold and take 1500.
2. The car has problems and it not what he states it is. Bolt on foxes around her don't go for shit, especially with no title.

Keep in mind you are trusting the info he says is true, I have never met anyone who can tell me with 100% confidence that is a stroker motor without tearing it open and measuring the internals

You can verify the headers, intake, alum heads, etc visually but not the motor itself. I wouldn't go over $1000 for that

Only thing I would be worried about is no title. What are you thinking about doing with the car?

For a donor or parts car its probably worth it if said listed parts are there.

Yes theres a couple of ways to go about it...
1. Pull a spark plug and use a piece of wire or (or anything similar) and measure the distance the piston travels from bottom to top. That's the stroke

2. You can also track down a P&G tube to test it although its useless unless you know what your doing.

If you can look into getting a title before you buy the car, then it could be a good deal. Although the two passenger side cobra emblems would but the s*** out of me.

Why? The 93 cobra's came like that and they properly mimicked it. It wasn't until 94 and they were switched to face forward each side.

But OP, if you decide you'd like to go check it out and would like another set of eyes let me know.

You guys are too trusting of CL ads, lol.

IF those parts are on it and everything is in good shape it's worth it. But if you want to get it to drive, the title thing may be an issue. State laws are different, but in CO the title process costs you about $500, so add that into the price.

Looks a little ragged out, good race car project. LOL'd at the center console gauges, unless they're nitrous gauges that's a stupid location. :)
