PI intake? Im buying it from this guy for a pretty good price (75 shipped). It has 30,000 miles on it, and he sais its a PI intake, just not sure by the way it looks. Whats yalls input?

Man, I have about 4 people right now offering me PI intakes for $65-$75 dollars shipped. I only have one that has the aluminium crossover, and Im buyin that one (lol sorry) but the ones with plastic crossover will probaly work out for you until you find an aluminium crossover one. I just posted an ad asking for one at the corral, and people have been emailing me since. If you want a plastic crossover one, PM me and I'll give you their email address.

PI the runners go opposite ways than a NPI. The front runner after the crossover should go to drivers.

^^^ yup, what he said. on NPI intake, the #1 intake runner goes to the #1 cylinder. on the PI, the #1 runner goes to the #5 cylinder. also, if you notice, there is only one location for a coolant sensor. NPI's had 2, PI's had 1 sensor.

yeah well if i get one w/ a plastic xover i'll prob blow it out with n20 correct?? i'm still noobish on pi stuff.

Nitrous doesnt go threw the aluminum crossover. So if you get a plastic one no big deal, but it will just crack eventually just from the coolant.

it'll just crack eventually?? uh my npi sees 5k a day and 80k miles.. and hasn't cracked its not less duable then that but... back on topic

i seriously want to put one of these on my car. its been forever since i've put a mod on. so brightwhite send me some links or something and i'll buy one next friday... guess i just need some gaskets hand tools paitence and some silicone right?

Yea lots of people are dropping them quick b/c the "next big thing" is the 3V swap... you can get the crap cheaper for that than the pi swap lol.
