Im tired of looking at my "mickey mouse" intake set up the previous owner had done. Ive been looking online at intakes for my 94 but none of them seem to look like they would fit. So now im asking the experts. I know he told me the heads and intake are from a 90 5.0 does that mean I have to get an intake for a 90?? This is how it looks, :dontknow: please point out anything in the picture that looks out of place. THANKS! :icon_salut:

Any aftermarket manifold is going to work for an 86-95 Mustang V8.

Before we start making recommendations, what are your future plans and what kind of budget do you have?

that pic already has the elbow on it. only the 94 and 95 gt/cobra intakes will not need an elbow.

I got a cobra upper/lower for $200, cleaned it up with some fresh paint and did some ported it a bit. Looks great, no elbow....

If you want cheap go with Mac or BBK. I haven't seen a K&N CAI with a tube, the only kit they have looks like what you have now.

Unless you're going for look it's probably not going to be too radically different performance wise.

The car has the elbow so everything is as it would be on a 94-95 Mustang GT so you're going to have to find a 94-95 GT CAI. I'd recommend just getting a Ebay kit.

Your choice of intakes is pretty open. Considering that its pretty much stock there is only a few that you cant get b/c of hood clearence issues but those are for more modded cars anyway but for what you have there are several to choose from that will work great.

Ok so I was looking at the ebay ones and realized something. My maf housing doenst have the four bolt plate to bolt it up to the 94-95 mustang cai's, Rather it has the older style maf without the mounting plate. But since it already has the elbow I cant get it for the 93 and older mustangs because it wont fit... Damn this sucks am I going to have to buy two kits and use the top part of the pipe for the 94 and the lower part of the pipe for the 93?? LOL

you could always buy my cobra intake manifold, along with my stock mass air and then a ebay cai, then it will all be correct and you should have a pretty good increase in power.. lol

Leave the stock one on and purchase a new one when you get a set of heads.
