Hey guys I have a '96 GT Vert and my driver seat leans back at an angle really bad towards the door. I've tried searching google and other forums and I can't find a reason or a fix for this problem. Is there anyone out there that has or had the same problem and knows a fix. It is a daily driver and I am tired of sitting on the edge of the seat.

Take the seat out. (easy) and check your bracket and the trackers. I took mine out and my tracker was broken...personal ejector seat. Anyhow i got it welded and reinforced and good as new. 20 bucks for the fix if thats what it is.

Mine does this too. I thought it was just my stock seats, but I replaced them with the Mach 1 seats and the driver side still is tipped towards the door. I know the Mustangs are known for having very week floor boards, maybe ours are a little tweaked? I hope not.

Did you replace the brackets too? Or just the seats?

Sounds like a messed up bracket to me.

Thanks for all the replies. The seat doesn't wobble and I will take out the seat on my day off to look at the track. Can I take the track to an exhaust shop to have them weld it together? If its the floorpans how do I fix that?
