You need to show up with a tank full of 93 octane gas. If you usually run 87 octane, then try to run the gas down as low as possible before filling up again with 93 octane. I installed brand new plugs same day.
-Make sure fuel filter "new-ish"
-Oil is fresh and at correct level
-Engine coolant + cooling system is in prime time condition.

the only thing that im not liking is that its not wanting to idle right. it will idle fine one min then the next min it wants to die.

PER CHILTON MANUAL:
Engine idles erratically-
1. Vacuum leaks. Check mounting bolts at intake manifold. Hoses are all connected.
2.EGR valve or PCV plugged
3.Air filter clogged
4.Fuel pump not delivering sufficiently
5.Ignition system not operating correctly
6.Fuel injection or PCM malfunction.
7.Leaking head gasket.
8. Timing chain, camshaft lobes, or valves worn.
