The car made 466/426 @ 12 lbs of boost/5600 rpm. We had gapped the plugs at .40 when they should have been at .28/.30 (noob mistake), so we are going back in the next week or so to make some good pulls and hopefully over 500rwhp. The car was also running very rich. Not bad for some crappy pulls!

Keep in mind this is all on a Mustang Dyno.

I gapped my plugs at .35...what plugs are you using?

Regardless..very impressive

Whats your A/F looking like?
When you rev higher how much boost are you looking to make?

I know this is a noob question...but whats the difference in a regular dyno and a mustang dyno?

very nice man, glad to see my car wasn't the only one blowing smoke on the dyno lol. Car sounds good though.

mustang dynos usually give a lower, more real world HP number and as far as my understanding goes they are better for tuning as well.

So it underestimates?

I wouldn't say its underestimated, it's just a more real world number. Mustang dynos take into account aerodynamics and rolling resistance of the vehicle on the road.

I can;t remember the name of the plugs, I'll check tomorrow. I know that they're pretty cold.

A/F was rich as hell, even with the BAP turned off! I have it written down somewhere. I was seeing 40lbs of pressure without the BAP and over 50 with it on. This particular run was with it turned off, and still running rich as you can see. I'm excited to see what she'll do with properly gapped plugs and a 50 shot.

I'm hoping for 16lbs @ 6200rpm.

Thanks! Yeah it was a smoke show alright lol.

Correct Mustang Dynos take into account air drag, which in turn makes the HP reading lower than a DynoJet, but more "realistic". If I was on a DynoJet the numbers would have been more like 490/440.

466... 12psi.... u need a smaller pulley... even if it peaks at 16 @ 6200... as for spark plug gap i ran .32 with ngk tr6 and a kb b-a-s... ah well, sounded pretty good, definitely could use a 4v head swap :D

holy shit u already have a 2.75... i figured urs would be about the same size as mine was which was 3.25 or 3.125 i dont remember exactly which one but it was one of the two... do u have an underdrive crank? anyway here is a 2.70 http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/product_variation.php?pvk=300 it would be like 1 psi more maybe... ud be better off getting a IW overdrive

agree w/ SVT Cobra....only thing you could really do now is go with an overdrive crank pulley.

I think you should be seeing more boost as well

My set up is a 8 rib conversion, Vortech SI blower, 2.95 blower pulley, IW 10% O/D crank pulley, same paxton a/a intercooler, blower cams, good flowing heads and longtubes....and I still am planning on being at around 18psi

Also, ever consider running meth pre blower? I'm going to be doing this and expecting to pick up 2psi alone just from this...

Haha yep it's already pretty small. My crank isn't an underdrive so that's probably why it made less boost?

Is that tuned or untuned? What made you stick with Sniper instead of heading over to Justin?

Technically it's "tuned", but definitely not at it's full potential!

Nice, those are good numbers for a mustang dyno.

Thanks man.

Yeah I want to get an O/D crank pulley. I'm having a problem though, I think it's due to the big intercooler. My car runs extremely hot all the time, and when I get on it it goes into the red. My dad and I think it may be due to the intercooler blocking the radiator?

And yep I'm gonna do meth later on down the road, for now just a 50 shot.

no an underdrive would make it spin slower thus less boost, just didnt seem to make the boost i thought it would and thought id ask.

as for ur car overheating... i had a 31x12x3 in front of mine and never had one problem... the only time mine got hot all the time was when my ccrm took a shit.

I run the exact same i/b as you and never had problems, it helped dramatically so if everything installed properly I really dont think it would be the i/c...
