Edit: Saleen heat extractor Hood [Atten: Dalamar, 95Opal]

What's up SN95 members,

I am in the market for saleen heat extractor hood later down the road and wanted to know some information. Where can buy a saleen heat extractor hood with the vents, and also have good quality. I checked abcexclusive online store, they currently carry it, but they do not over the heat extractor vents with hood. Does anyone know any good info on this hood. I know a few members have it, so I would like to know your experiences with this hood. If you can post pictures that would be great!

ABCexclusive sell them, but they do not have the authentic heat extractor vents I'm pretty sure. Thanks for your help man.

I thought it was just called the Heat Extractor Hood not S351 since it came on S281's also. :dontknow:

oh it did, I didn't know that I thought they only came on supercharged 94-98's which were the s351? Any ways my dilemma is that I can't find anyone who sells them with the heat extractor vents.

Yep, thats exactly it, I sent a few PM's out to people who have them, but didn't getting any response yet.

i bet if you change whats in parenthesis in the thread title to something like ATTN: Dalamar, you will probably get his attention. Although Im sure if youre patient enough, he'll return your message fairly soon.

I have one, but it's also a 3" cowl in addition to all the heat extractor stuff. It's sitting in my closet. I laid it on the car once and took some pics though. Made by Harwood and available from Summit.

I bought mine from ABC and the quality was fine. I really dont understand what your asking but heres a few pics.

You seem to have a perfect drop without being too low... how... what did you do? I'm way too low these days. I'd like a Cobra R front end but would be real happy with the Saleen body kit. How'd you pull that off?

On Abcexclusive site, I didn't see the functional nostrils in the pictures so I assumed, or maybe I'm blind lol. Thanks for confirming. Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks bro It took a bit to get the drop where i wanted it. the roads up here in the north east can reak havok on dropped cars. I knew I wanted her low but not to low where I had to worry about every dam pot hole around. i uses the prokit ande cut a half coil off the front to get it to sit right where i wanted it and I couldnt be more happy with it. The pins actually are pins they just dont protrude up through the hood. as far as the funcional scoops they all come sealed you have to cut the openings to make them functional. After they were cut I used the saleen screen kit to fill them in.
