I planned to do this a while back with mine, but didn't pull the trigger because it doesn't provide any HP gains of any kind. The only advantage to doing the EGR Delete is a cleaner engine bay. Of course the car also has to be tuned for it, or else it'll start throwing codes once the EGR is gone.
I don't have a write up, but isn't it just as simple as removing the EGR tube and the EGR valve? Of course you would have to cap the hole in the header and put a block off plate where the EGR valve was. You'd also have to cap the vac line and remove the DPFE sensor. I think that's it.
From the research that I did, the header cap can be purchased at a hardware or home improvement store. The block off plate can be found on eBay. The parts can also be purchased from just about any of the reputable performance parts stores.
If you wanted to order these parts from the Ford dealership, here are the OEM part numbers:
E69Z-9D440-A - Block off plate (comes with 2 bolts and gasket)
W705609-S430 - Header cap
