But in the future I want to get a solid pipe made, and get rid of the rubber sleeve in the middle. Buuut I don't want to pay the outrageous price for an Anderson power pipe. Last week I started on my battery relocation project. To start off, I got some big fender washers and welded some 1" long pieces of 5/16" all thread to them. <img src="https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180414/6bf6d7ab16964dabab7f6fd417660271.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" />Then I picked out a spot in the trunk where I wanted to mount the battery box and cleaned up the trunk floor so I could weld to it. <img src="https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180414/69dad44633be4a678411c6f8ca158c59.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" /><img src="https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180414/bb7034e9a5cb8d84a16c2805597afdd2.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" />Then bolted the box down. <img src="https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180414/ee7d0c2fb108536a5d6fe3b290dac081.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" />I had purchased a battery hold down clamp but realized that it wouldn't work with the box that I had, so I made my own using some 3/8" all thread and a piece of 1 1/4" flat bar. <img src="https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180414/fff5ff816b279f4d8a1688ed92564995.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" />Then I put some heat shrink over the flat bar to protect things. <img src="https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180414/726a02e8e722fece9663d5f9f4a51289.jpg" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" />Pulled the seats, harnesses, and carpet out of the car for a good cleaning and to be able to run my battery cable through the car. I'm gonna try to sell the SVE seats and the harnesses. I finally cleaned all the mildew and crap out of the interior that appeared while the car was in the other shop too. I need to pull the engine back out of the car now that the hole is cut. After that we should be ready to prime and paint everything, then I can start putting all of this massive puzzle back together.</blockquote>
