my car came without an engine. what is the best angle for a fox/sn95 race car??
Building a transmission mount, when U set the engine in level, as in level with the front frame rails and door sills, the trans appears to be really high. I'm using a UPR tub K member and stock motor mounts for now.
using a 351c and a Toploader 4 speed so no factory trans mounts will work. So I'm building my own to work with the toploader transmission.
The 351C uses the same motor mounts as the 302/5.0/351W so what ever you guys are running should get me into the same ball park.
My rear end and all the suspension components for both the front and rear are in boxes, so setting it all up and measuring ride heights and checking pinon drive-shaft angles will have to come later.
I am thinking I'll start with level, as in the pan rails and heads level with the door sills and front frame extensions.
will that work? what are you engines sitting at?
