When the similar problem occurred before, i put in a cheap motorcraft distributor rotor and pickup relay....soooo possibly i got what i paid for, or the cap is toasted. thanks for the input everybody. I'll be sure to post after i replace the distributor Btw, i was thinking msd or some sort of billet distributor. Is that overkill? I also saw that there are different styles of triggers, what is that going to affect if i buy one with a trigger different from stock, let's say a magnetic style?</blockquote>
