Ok guys, here's what's up. I'm selling a few cars, so I'll have some extra money here in the near future. I was thinking about spending some of it on a PI swap, cams, manifold, ect. Then, I added it all up and realized, that I can do an engine swap for a little cheaper, and get more horsepower later on down the road, since the 2v is limited in so many ways. I was either thinking of putting a 5.0 cobra motor in the car, since aftermarket parts are relatively cheap for that motor, or a 4v motor out of a mach 1.

Which do you guys think I should go with? If you think there is a better option, please tell me. What I'm looking for is around 400 horsepower

I was thinkin that the 4v might be better, but will it bolt up to my AODE? I know that the Mach 1's come auto, but is it the same bell housing?

One last thing, is the block for the Mach iron or aluminum?

sweet, so since the mach 1 comes auto, then I can just drop it right in, with the same motor mounts ect?

You can drop any 32v in, you just need a flexplate. There's already a few threads on this.
