ENGINE TEMP RIDES ON HIGH SIDE OF NORMAL

stang overheats and rides on high side of engine temp gauge. problem all started when i put an a/c compressor on and my car is also lowered 2 inches front and back. i flushed my radiator and still have that problem. or is it cause i live in west texas and as of now our avg. temp. is 101

Mine always ran hot in the summer.
Thicker radiator seems to be the best fix.

THE FAN IS A 2 SPEED FAN AND IF ONLY ONE SPEED IS WORKING MINE USED TO WARM UP...I LOST A MOTOR DUE TO THIS..LIKE HE SAID A BETTER RAD AND A BETTER FAN WILL DO THE TRICK JUST FINE..

Being that is that hot where you are I would say thats your main issue. Being that you probably have a stock cooling system does not help. Your better off getting an aftermarket gauge for the water temp so you can see the actual number of the temp not a guesstamate on the NORMAL gauge. It does not get as hot her as TX but it was 90 and humid yesterday and mine ran 180-200 on the drive home from work with a 2 core aluminum radiator, stewart high flow pump and some water wetter thrown in
