Hey everyone i got a problem with one of my cars and i havent found an easy way of finding out where the leak is coming from.
I still have air flowing out the back lightly and motor got much louder. I was thinking it was one of the cats but i havent found any way to test out what could be the problem. Anyone got any ideas?

Not a bad idea. It'll backflow all the air to the leak so i would be able to find out where it is correct?

If it's a mod motor the stupid gasket from the manifold or header to Ur mid pipe probably failed. I've replaced a few of those on my old mod cars.

Whats an exhaust leak sound like? I thought my car sounded perfect but one of my buddies has an 03 Cobra and said he definitely heard one and he knows what he's talking about.

Have a friend cover both tail pipes with you under the car, start it and feel for the air.

What?

As long as he understood what I was trying to convey, don't worry about it.

Call me crazy but if he is saying the motor got "much louder" and not the occasional "tick" that this type of friend-endagering shenanigans won't be required.

The the original poster, get the car in the air, fire it up, and look around. The louder the "tick" its probably closer to the motor.
