Exhaust leak, shorties or hunt for some stockers?

I know Musturd.
But I already decided I won't be getting them.
Not looking for every ounce of power I can get. Just a little more power than it has now. PI swap and gears is probably my stopping point, maybe a few bolt ons. But not looking for getting max potential.

And longtubes would be a waste for my post 4.6 plans. As I mentioned earlier, when this motor starts going south, it's being replaced by a semi built 5.4.
So that puts longtubes out anyway.

I'm just trying to fix the dang crack and get my exhaust sounding the way I want.

Also I know it's a bit off topic, but if anyone reads this.
I found the sound I want.

Can the 99+ be fitted to my 96?
I found the catback I want but it's 99+.

Yea you most certainly can fit a 99+ catback the tail pipe hangers are a bit different nothing you wouldn't be able to figure out , numerous guys run the 99 up catbacks on the sn95 cars ... Yea I understand a 5.4 would be cool but if it was me I'd stay 4.6 based with a teksid or wap block , with a 5.4 power will be similar just more torque .

I was going to go with Magnapacks for my model.
But then heard borla on a 99+ and fell in love.
So I was looking at SSS Adrenaline which in most forums and youtube agree, sound identical but is only $389 as opposed to what borla costs.
But I was worried as it was 99+

It's basically the rear hangar yes?
Now if I couldn't bend the hangar to fit the car, could I fit a 99+ hangar on mine to mate to the exhaust?

I hope that made sense haha.
If the latter will work, another 25 dollars on top of my catback won't hurt, as the catback I plan to order is 100s cheaper than one for my model.

I've run a Borla S type from a Mach 1 on my 94 GT a bassani 99-04 catback on my 94 GT. Run a set of 98 Cobra tailpipes on my 94. Even ran a stock 03 GT full piping with Dynomax ultraflo mufflers welded in. Plus many others I could go on for quite a while.

To to answer your original question yes just the hanger. Any exhaust shop can fix it for you easily.

If the hangars are cheaper then I'll just jack it up and do it all myself.

That with the HPS and proper bolt ons should net me a sold 250+ at the wheels, and I can only imagine the torque.

Fail...the catback is backordered, yet the site doesn't list them as such....
Those Packs really sound good though..may just spend the extra cash on them.

I would love to squeeze in a set of long tubes! Another 20rwhp would put my current npi setup in the 300 club.

I thought about it, but decided against them.
I'm just tinkering on this motor til it either goes or hits 200k.
By then I should have a fresh 5.4 ready to drop in.
The plus is most if any bolt ons will swap over.
But longtubes won't.
So I'm looking ahead, rather than having to buy headers twice, I'd much rather have to just buy new gaskets.
