no, they isnt any interchangeability in exhaust manifolds. there is in h-pipes and x-pipes. its a tight fit though. for instance my engine is a 2v 4.6. i used bbk shorties but an upr xpipe that came off a 97 cobra. catbacks still all bolt on the same.

Stock manfiold swill fit, SOME long tube manufactureres will say their lt's wont fit a 96-98 when they are made for a 99-04 car.

I havnt tried this but as far as bolting up to the motor yes,the only thing that will be sketchy will be body and suspension clearance.

yes the pi and npi are the same port shape. Just use your stock ones from the 96. I have some if you need.

the actual stock 2v exhaust manifolds are SLIGHTLY different between the years, but they all fit the same. main difference ive seen is the exhaust studs that sit on the flange where the mid pipe connects to. some use 18mm nuts and thicker studs (the older cars), and some use 15mm nuts and skinner studs (newer cars). EGR port locations are all the same tho.

When youve been drinking and long enough, you soon realize that the "good" beer does the trick just as good as the "cheap" beer. I have given up so Keystone it is.
