Exhaust question

Ok Iposted how I have been getting a creeking noise hitting bumps and etc. Well I got under my car looked again and right at the top of my o/r x pipe theres gashes in it and the only thing in sight is my rusty ole' cross member. Did you guys connect your crossmember to your offroad pipes or not? I didn't but looking under it while it was running the entire x pipe was vibrating and looked to slightly move at an idle. Is there a way to keep this still?

The exhaust is hung in strategic places by rubber mounts insulating it's vibrations from the body.
Sounds like you've got something else going on. Creaks in the suspension parts are not uncommon.
I would look elsewhere.
